In short
13.1 km from Concord, about 20 minutes by car, mainly along Crane Street. We are open seven days, so the drive can happen on a weekend if that is easier, and you can book online or ring 02 8552 7800 and we will find you a time.
Why the drive from Concord is worth it
Concord is a fair drive from Lane Cove, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. What makes the trip worth it is the day something is found that needs more than a consult room can answer: CT imaging, orthopaedic surgery, disc disease work-up and surgery, chemotherapy, laser therapy and behaviour consultations are all done in this building, and you can book straight in without a referral.
Having it all at one address also means the distance is covered once. Your pet is examined, scanned and, where it is needed, operated on by people who work together every day, and the follow-up conversation happens with the vet who saw them first, so a long drive is not followed by a longer chain of appointments.
What we do at Advanced Vet Care
Every one of these is done under this roof, by the team who will come to know your pet from the consult room.
Walking the dog around Concord
For a walk near Concord, two that people use are Edwards Park and Greenlees Park. Others within reach: Jessie Stewart Reserve, Rothwell Park, Carlton Place, Henley Park.
Grass seeds are the local menace. They work into a paw or an ear over a few days, so a hand run through the coat after a walk is worth the minute, and if a paw is being licked or an ear shaken we are always happy to take a look.
What Concord clients say
Vet Matt was very knowledgeable about greyhounds and got to know my dog Tanzy so that she was comfortable with him and not stressed. He knows about the quirks of greyhounds which is really important in order to care for them effectively. The rooms are modern and very clean and there is parking at the back. Tanzy was very happy with her visit and will return.
