A vet a few minutes from Northwood, with everything under one roof
Advanced Vet Care Lane Cove is 2.1 km from Northwood, about 5 minutes by car, so for most of what your pet will ever need we are simply the vet down the road. In short
2.1 km, about 5 minutes by car, mainly along Longueville Road, and open seven days. Everything we do, from vaccinations to CT imaging, is in this one building, and you can book online or ring 02 8552 7800 whenever suits.
What Northwood gets from a vet this close
From Northwood we are the everyday vet, a few minutes away for vaccinations, dental work, desexing, the itch that will not settle and the lump somebody noticed in the bath. We are open seven days, and we would always rather you came in with a small worry than sat at home with it.
What makes this building unusual only matters on the day it matters. CT imaging, orthopaedic surgery, disc disease work-up and surgery, chemotherapy, laser therapy and behaviour consultations are all done here by colleagues our vets work beside every week, so if a consult turns into something bigger your pet stays in the same building and the same hands, and the advice you get on whether to scan or operate has been formed next to the people who would do it.
What we do at Advanced Vet Care
Every one of these is done under this roof, by the team who will come to know your pet from the consult room.
Walking the dog around Northwood
For a walk near Northwood, two that people use are Endeavour Playground and Woodford Bay Park. Others within reach: Osborne Park, Lane Cove Bushland Park, Henningham Playground, St Vincents Playground.
Grass seeds are the local menace. They work into a paw or an ear over a few days, so a hand run through the coat after a walk is worth the minute, and if a paw is being licked or an ear shaken we are always happy to take a look.
What Northwood clients say
We always have had brilliant experience with the kind, caring and knowledgeable staff. Dr Tess and Dr Michael are both fantastic. Spritz loves the snuffle mats and abundant treats in reception!
